🚦Car Fest in Concert-Town, Full-Tank Weekend, + Gas Prices Defying All Logic

Good morning,  

I’m just back from a trip to Houston, TX where my jaw dropped as I paid just $2.29 for a gallon of gas.

Per AAA, SoCal coastal counties are paying up to $5.84 a gallon. That’s more than double what I just paid. Specifically it’s $3.55 per gallon more than what I just paid.

By that metric. Drivers can buy two gallons of regular unleaded gas in Houston, TX for every one gallon in Los Angeles, CA and have $1.26 leftover.

This wild difference is difficult to fully grasp. And it’s hard to imagine California lawmakers keeping this up much longer while remaining in their perches of power.
