Greetings,

As Goober Newsom scrambles to keep his job it seems our outdoor automotive activities are maintaining their kinda-open status.

But the

Del Mar Nationals

, once planned for spring have pushed to the fall.  And the

La Jolla Concours d'Elegance

punted the entire year of 2021.  It returns in 2022.  

We still have our local cars and coffee events.  Some of those have yet to come back... and I'm wondering if some might not.

And, some are having problems.  Such as the Wheels & Waves event in Malibu last weekend.  Jim C. tipped me off to an issue there.  I contacted the city and its reps are stating the Malibu Country Mart businesses no longer want the event in their parking lot.

But, I'm not sure I'm getting the whole story.  Because the city's statement wasn't entirely clear.  And my follow-up questions have yet to be answered.  I'll keep you posted.
