Good morning!

The first order of business, there's a new weekly Cars & Coffee.  I hit

Gas & Glaze

for the first time last Saturday.  It's in La Puente and is very easy to get to at C&C-time.

Ha, so I just made that phrase up.  :0)  Here's the definition for when Webster's decides to add it to the dictionary.

C&C-time:

Early morning hours of weekends.  Marked especially by low levels of traffic congestion.  And vehicles being driven that are often not considered daily drivers.

Now, onto the second-order of business.  Electric vehicles.  EV news is impossible to avoid lately.  To be clear, I'm keeping close track of this massive shift.  But the cadence of the EV rollout seems unsustainable.  And personally, I think it's way over the top. 

Don't get me wrong.  I love technology and innovation, especially in cars.  But I also love our automotive history.  It almost feels as if cancel culture is putting fuel-combustion in its cross-hairs.  As clearly

stated by one of my all-time least favorite lawmakers

Interesting times and issues... Perhaps good stuff to consider aloud with friends during our C&C-time.

• Armed robber doesn't know Teslas are loaded with cameras.

• Dude drives a loaner-BMW to rob a bank, so he can buy a BMW.
