Good morning,

I hope you don't mind me sharing a quick personal note; today is my father-in-law's birthday.  And that's significant because he was diagnosed with stage IV stomach cancer in 2013. 

But he's still with us today.  Largely, that's due to my wife.  You see when Dad-in-law received his terminal diagnosis my wife refused to accept it.  She became his full-time patient advocate. 

And she did everything.  From researching the disease and treatments to fighting with health insurance.  Also, interviewing countless doctors and taking her Dad to every appointment.  Literally.  She did.  Every. Thing.  

My wife also found her passion in patient advocacy.  So, as a way to pay forward the blessing of her Dad's survival we started

Hope for Stomach Cancer

.  It's a 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps patients and caregivers fight stomach cancer.  And it also connects the medical community to those it serves in new and very innovative ways.  

I hope you do not know anyone who needs help with stomach cancer.  But if you do, Hope for Stomach Cancer can very likely help.
