Good Thursday Morning To You,
I hope your Independence Day Weekend was perfect! And after a short week, here comes the weekend again. :0)
So, I love all cars. Everything. Old, new, custom, rods, off-roads, tuners, low-riders, and yes EVs as well. Our mobile past and future are fascinating.
But the pace at which we're charging toward EV adoption leaves a lot of questions. And one that I think really hasn't been dissected and determined with certainty is the overall carbon footprints.
Specifically, the carbon footprint of an internal combustion engine versus an EV. And that needs to be looked at throughout the entire lifecycle of the vehicle. From production to road use to landfill.
That issue has been bouncing around in my brain for a few years now. And this story about the
inspired me to address it here.
Also, here in California, we can hardly get through a summer without power issues. So I'm curious where all extra electricity is going to come from to juice up our cars once we're all driving EVs?
