My fellow car lovers,

I hope October is treating you and yours well.

As always, all the car shows and stories are linked below.  Two stories really caught my attention this week.

The first is a super-genius carjacker got shot - he's okay.  But the car owner was able to shoot the carjacker because the

would-be 

thief couldn't drive a stick!

And the second hits home here in California.  Because you know that big EV charging station halfway between SoCal and SF?  At Harris Ranch.  Well, it turns out that

electric vehicle charging station is being run by diesel generators!
