Good morning Friends!

I've extended the lease on my Tacoma 3x now.  That's supposedly unheard of unless you have a new vehicle on order.  Which I do not.

While inventories are coming back.  It seems midsize pickups remain inventory-challenged.  I'd love a full-sized truck.  But one loaded with everything I want is $85K!  It's no wonder factories are now offering 84-month financing.  (Crazy!)  

The good news is that new car inventories are rising.  Bringing transaction prices down.  But they're still insanely high.  When you

look at the graph in this article

.  New vehicle prices averaged around $39K in 2020.  They spiked nearly 30% to more than $50K last year.  And now dipped to $47K currently.

So, while prices have dipped.  They're still up - way up.  Ouch!
