Here comes Memorial Day Weekend. The unofficial start to summer and all the annual car shows that come with it.
But these gas prices are off the charts. I even spotted a report where a gas station owner is updating his signs to be able to fit $10.00 per gallon prices!
Some ideas for saving at the pump that you probably already know. But with lots of Memorial Day Weekend driving planned I figured I'd share.
Buy Costco Gas - Yes you have to wait in line. But the price is worth it for me. (And get the Citi Costco credit card for 4% back annually.)
Extra stuff in the trunk - I always have something that can come out. And it's usually heavy. (Extra weight is no good.)
Air in the tires - No, I'm not rehashing an old Cheech and Chong joke. Keeping them full can save a bit of MPG.
