Good morning,

If you've been catching the news then you know there's been a couple of terrible car accidents this past week.

One

involving a celebrity

.  Plus one that was

sadly, very deadly

.  And I would rather never report such incidents.

However, iDriveSoCal is a community of driving enthusiasts.  And as such we should at least be aware of these events.

Moreover, we should encourage safe driving whenever possible.  This brings me to another local news report. 

My thanks to Dan B. for sharing this one about a group of

young enthusiasts creating pop-up car shows and behaving badly.

SoCal car lovers are better than that.  And we have ample tracks throughout our region to have that sort of fun safely and legally.

So be alert and safe out there.  And encourage others to do the same.
